sounds great! though, the obvious advantage of an xbox / xbox 360 is that it's already under the TV to start with...

i have dual 24" at home, dual 19" at work. depending on my mood, i prefer one or the other. the wide space of the 24" can be surprisingly tiring for moving your eyes between.
Or you could get one of these - [www.amazon.com] - you don't have to use a VoIP gadget with it, I have it hooked up to my laser printer with a suitable Linksys power supply from ebay. perfecto, and dirt cheap!

Quality idea. Does something exist like this for Windows? It would be nice to have an app that controls what happens when i shut the lid based on various factors... AC connected, monitor connected, battery life left etc
