The problem is that, although it might be nice, the fact that EVERYTHING about you (name, photo, etc.) is automatically public without the ability to hide it is such a turn off.

How to stop Google from taking over all of your Google apps:
It doesn't help me since I don't use it. /shrug
Meh, I've given up on it. It's not worth battery drain/location spying, honestly. I can get weather from any other app without feeding the Google machine and I don't really care about seeing how bad the traffic is while I'm sitting in it.
Is this on the Mac too? I don't see a Recent Apps section (though I still have it on the new tabs page).
I'd much rather flood Google with links to crappy sites, honestly... because I just don't care about Google.
Oh, I'm absolutely certain that Google Alerts will be the next service killed in the name of "Google+ consolidation".
Actually, I've been making an effort to make Google+ my favourite in the hopes that they'll kill it off next. Wishful thinking and all. ;)
On the grid, I will give you that. It's not a major issue, but I'd love to see it - like we can do on the Mac side of things.
Meaning? It seems pretty straight-forward to me - movies, music, tv shows; all on their own tabs. Select an some songs, add to up next or play outright, be done with it.
Do you honestly believe that the majority of Android users bother with changing icons or customize things?
What is wrong with iTunes? I haven't found a media player that comes close to it, yet.
I think that they made a mistake making it hook into the HDMI slots since I only have two, and they're taken up by my ATV and Tivo. :(
Not to mention that they're also breaking their own Adsense rules.. but when has Google ever played by the rules?
