Being forced to constantly play a gender you don’t want to in video games. I can’t imagine what that is like.

Well they have been taken to court before, it’s how we got refunds added to Steam. Valve knows they’re doing bad, they’ve said it themselves over and over before (they said they hate Greenlight yet keep it, they’ve said they have terrible customer support and don’t fix it), they just don’t care.

Valve has only managed to scrape by due to the amount of goodwill they’ve built up over the years, and the fact that they’re practically got a monopoly on digital gaming distribution (yes, GMG, GoG, Origin and Amazon exist, but they all pale in comparison to Steam).

They need to be sued. They would lose and it would probably be a good step in getting them to change. I don’t like the sue crazy nature of the US but this is a company that really needs to be knocked down a peg.

The lack of communication from them is the most troubling thing, as smart users out there were able to vocalize that it was a caching issue early on before Valve even bothered to confirm it, but only after turning the service off, and fixing it.

My wife and I watched the great Winter Fail with both great interest and intense focus (primarily on our bank accounts). While the impact of that problem will probably be far-reaching and slow to reveal itself (as anyone with a lick of goddamn sense will probably wait for a time before using ill-gotten information…

That’s not necessarily true. I think most people would agree that the reworking of the sprites for Final Fantasy IV’s PSP collection release are at least as good as the originals if not better in that they kept the style of the originals while increasing the resolution and providing more detail that the new resolution…

This release includes improved translation and additional dungeons available on GBA version, if I’m not mistaken. So it's a bit better than the SNES version. The GBA version is probably still better.

hell, playing it on a ps3 is better

... It’s insane that just playing this game on an SNES emulator is better than playing the actual official PC release.

I should add I do know some monogamous people! And they are also happy. You do tend to meet more Poly folk when you are one, it seems. And to each their own, and I am not ruling out the idea I may be in a monogamous relationship in the future either: I'm just not right now.

Hmm, this seems to be missing out the fact that there can still be cheating and betrayal in non-monogamous or poly relationships. In the past, I had an open relationship with a "not my friends" (or your friends) rule - when that was broken it *was* cheating! and it hurt like hell. Being non-monogamous was no guarantee…

Really? I'd say sexual jealousy is the strongest argument for monogamy.

Ditto except I am the smoker. We moved in with the landlord/rental office knowing we were smokers. Then the guy upstairs complains despite us both being gone all day. people here in US will complain about ANYTHING. you live a pet friendly apartment, they complain if a dog barks. they complain if a baby cries. they complain if you cook with garlic. its ridiculous.

I think you just discovered the real deal behind the triceratops horns. They had built in hi-def surround sound headphones! Also, unicorns, but a mono signal only.
