Yeah I’ll take the Mariam-Websters definition over the wiki definition. The key to science isn’t prediction, it’s observance.

Science is, in its simplest definition, a systematically organized body of knowledge on a particular subject of the physical or natural world. It doesn’t have to be predictable. Look at quark rotation, completely unpredictable and barely understood at all but since we can place peramiters and “observe” we can add to

That’s still scientific.

Like Tony Stark says, it’s all science. We just haven’t figured it out yet.

I had my reservations about Benny as Strange, but after seeing that beard and hearing that accent they’re all gone.

Not without breaking their terms of services, and god knows I’d never do that. I’ll just take it for free until they get their asses in gear what ever the new word is.

I don’t think the driver did this purposefully. He had someone flying up in the passing lane, and someone else coming in even hotter who went right without a lot of notice. If these guys were all going the speed limit and picked a passing lane, the BMW would have simply pulled to the right and allowed both to pass.

Haha spoken like a true Mustang driver. For fucks sakes, girls go for a WRX STI over a Mustang most days.

Metro Vancouver is hardly downtown Toronto.

For not allowing residential permits to a large scale commercial enterprise? Yeah, real assholes.

Uh did you read the article? The whole point is that they can’t get residential on-street permits.

It’s a smart car. They can just holler for three friends and lift the thing.

Fair enough, but to ensure that you’d be getting into permitting for specific districts. Definitely not impossible, but a regulatory nightmare and a disservice to residents if it ever expanded outside of commercial operations.

True that, you do have to appriciate that they legitimately tried. Uber and AirBnB are on their own level of shittiness.

Meh, I wouldn’t think so. Car2go themselves state that most customers aren’t giving up personal vehicles to join the service.

The permits they’re applying for aren’t open to commercial fleets, only personal and small business vehicles. I should clarify and state that I don’t think they’re ignoring the law, they just had no regard for it when coming up with their business model.

But that channel isn’t open to fleets, which they knew coming in. If it was, there would be no incentive for private business to build inastructure to house their commercial vehicles, everyone would just buy a permit.

Meh, can’t really feel bad for any business coming in with a complete disregard for municipal by-laws. I get their point, but then it opens the door up to so many other commercial customers that it just doesn’t make sense.

If you’re riding high and you have a sudden drop in pressure (could be due to a number of reasons, the most common would be going from strenuous activity to regular activity in a short period of time), it has a similar effect as someone going from regular to low in a short amount of time. Instead of going from
