Gene definitely has a thing for dressing up as 90s female singers. Louise likes pun costumes. It is interesting to see how they have moved Tina away from being an active Trick-or-Treater and more interested in hanging out with her peers on Halloween. Weird how you can have growth in a cartoon even with the timeline

Jocelyn is great.

One thing that really struck me about this ep was how much the finger-pricking was in character for Tina and Louise. Louise can’t admit she’s squicked, Tina just goes and does the deed.

There’s also this from Loren Bouchard’s twitter:

Now playing

sounds like Fiona Apple did the end credit song.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one: David Simon creates a great show that almost everyone ignores.

I know, right? Everytime he says, ‘I just assume I have it’, I’m like, “Dude”.

Paul, please, go get tested.

They do realize that a “unicorn” in the online dating world typically refers to a bisexual woman willing to have NSA sex (or be in a long-term sexual relationship with, I’m not sure which is considered rarer) a hetero couple, right? This must be one of those shows that got created because the network heads were like

That's how you do a cold open.

*Aunt Tiffany. I wouldn’t correct, but it just means so much to her.

“What the fuck? Come on, bitch”

“I want some of that snow white dick!"

I love that the only two songs Tiffany knows on the piano are “This Little Light of Mine” and “Toxic”.

It’s driving me insane. Literally fucking insane. They’re going to lock me in a padded room and all I’ll be able to hear is an endless loop of “Runnin’ through the house with a pickle in my mouth”. It’s nightmarishly catchy. Horrible, horrible song. I mean, it’s perfect, but it’s so awful. I am seriously haunted by

When she’s harassing her ‘fiance’ for sex before the show I couldn’t stop laughing.

Edi Patterson is so damn funny. The way she delivers “So I can surf faster, Jesse!” is perfect.
