This was so frustrating and took me out of the story! Obviously Aaron won’t give her her stuff, including the pills, because he wants to control her, but there’s no reason a character should get away with saying “you don’t need the pill for 3 days because you won’t be having sex”, a statement which is blatantly wrong…

I too have a problem with that phrasing. Has anyone, anywhere every called Leonardo DiCaprio or Bradley Cooper middle aged? That’s typically a phrase that gets thrown around at 50+.

Nice to see a review for the show. It’s definitely worthy of coverage when season 2 comes around. This was an excellent first season. One of the best new shows I’ve seen in quite some time.
A light sanding is a good idea, and pretty much essential if the old paint was glossy. Then, use a TSP solution to wash off the sanding dust and further clean the walls. If the old paint has a flatter finish, and is in good condition, then just the TSP wash should be fine. TSP is a degreaser, and will make the topcoat…
