CP. Washington cars are usually rust free (? not from WA so I’m not positive) but 5 large is way too much. There are plenty of other capable, rust free 4x4 vehicles around for less than 5000. And a Rav4 just really doesn’t have any appeal to me. Clean car but not worth the money.

Really? That’s interesting; I’ve never had any experience with Hondas but I’ve always been under the assumption that they run trouble free for many thousands of miles. I guess stereotypes aren’t always true.

The world isn’t ready for that level of badassery.

Starred for møøsemøbile. Awesome looking car, like every Volvo is.

I don’t disagree with you that our service men and women do not get the recognition they deserve for their sacrifices. I just don’t think that this police procession could really be considered “politics” or “scare tactics”, it’s just a case of a small community losing one of their own in a senseless act of violence. I

The elephant is just upset about losing his place at the next Polo tournament to a Tuk-Tuk. I mean, I hear they are pretty competitive animals so he probably took the suspension from the game personally.

My brother went nuts when they brought this to the United States. I thought they were uninspiring until I saw, correction, heard one in person for the first time. Props to Fiat for making a true hot hatch driver’s car.

Yeah, I shouldn’t criticize VW too much. The gf has ran a Golf (gas) for 5 years without any issues at all. It’s been a suprisingly good car for breaking the stereotypes.

Every VW comes with a dash covered in Christmas lights at no extra cost. What a deal! Better go buy a Volkswagen!

I’m not sure which one I like more, both are amazing looking! The rally spec 124 looks especially amazing, I’m just suprised at how low it still seems to sit.

Great read, and I’m jealous of that Baja! Project cars are the best cars.

Diesel is really pretty simple, the only thing that can be challenging is injectors and injection pumps. A reputable diesel shop can help with that. I like the fact that the only wire on the motor runs to a fuel shut-off solenoid. Everything else is mechanical.

That will look sharp! My blue truck is unique because it has a dealer installed tach that Dodge offered back in the day, apparently it wasn’t overly common and my ‘90 doesn’t have one. The Cummins backed up with a 5 speed manual puts trailer towing at around 18-20 mpg. Old diesels run a lot cheaper than new ones.

Doing what a truck was meant to do! Mine have just pulled a few trailers in their careers with me. I’d rather put these old trucks to work than make garage queens out of them.

I actually like how the paint has dulled, I wish I could find a truck with good patina that didn’t need body work. It gives the truck more character and history than flashy new paint could ever give it. My blue truck luckily had the rear axle fully rebuilt before I bought it so it saved me a little work. Dual exhaust

I wish the body on my ‘90 was that clean! Both of mine are Cummins powered but I’ve always wanted to pick up a V8 Power Ram or Power Wagon if I find a nice one. Good job keeping it all original, it’s a great looking truck!

I’ve got another 1990 regular cab W350 srw that’s a little rough (the next project) but it has the original caps on all four, plus I have two spare sets on a shelf in my garage. I guess I’ve kind of cornered the market on them.

The guard had a couple broken bars and the steps were cracked so I just opted to take them off to clean up the look of the truck. The wheels are staying stock for now but I have a nice set of vintage looking Outlaw IIs laying around that I may throw on one day when it needs tires again, just to see how they look. I do

If it counts as a theme, my project truck that’s the closest to completion is bone stock. I didn’t want it to be a coal rolling bro dude daddy’s money theme. The ugly brush guard and side steps were ditched after this photo.

Oh you betcha! I can’t watch the movie Fargo because I’m unable to follow the storyline when it’s overshadowed by that accent.
