Full stop. Without the halo, Grosjean does not survive that wreck.

That was insane. Without the halo, Grosjean is absolutely dead. No ands, ifs, or buts.

I suppose that’s what’s amazing is that despite the obvious power advantage 1970s Can Am cars have over today’s LMP cars or what 1980s F1 cars had over today’s cars, those track records have been absolutely annihilated due to how much farther handling and braking capabilities have advanced thanks to tire technology

I love Pick n Pulls. I spent $100 at one today, Thanksgiving. Got an 11 mm TDI injection pump, an EGR valve for an ALH (looked pretty recently replaced and not puking oil vapors from the weep hole) mk4 driver door seal, 4 mk2 door latch assemblies. Not too bad! Girlfriend decided to drive over 500 miles last night to

This is an overly extreme crash, and it is amazing the occupant literally walked away from a 100 mph wreck.

With it getting that kind of mileage, I wonder if it either never got “the fix” or the owner had a tuner “unfix” it after the dieselgate update.

Just use a good additive that deals with water better, adds lubricity back to the fuel and change the filter every 20k miles. And while the filter is out, check the bottom of the filter housing for any debris, drain and clean as necessary.

Hamilton is undoubted in my mind as a GOAT. Are there things I could nitpick about him? Sure. But I can’t question the driving talent. Never have.

They’re out there.... meanwhile me at 37... $1500 beater cars are still the name of the game. lol

Gotta pay for those election fraud lawsuits and forced state ballot recounts somehow!

Man I love the B5 wagon TDIs. I’ve owned 3.

Friend of mine claims Toyota had maybe a Land Cruiser model or something that had a similar AWD transfer case like VW where it has the torsen gearset to split power or be locked 50/50, but he also claimed you could disengage the front and make it RWD only as well, which you can’t do with the VW.

These aren’t known for catching fire... And diesel isn’t near as easy to ignite as gas. Gotta wonder if the shop owner got so fed up they just torched it and claimed it on insurance to be done with losing their asses on trying to figure out its electrical gremlins.

What’s wild is all the V6 TDIs we got here were more powerful than that unit.

Before VW started using 8 speed autos, they did have 2.7:1 low gear transfer cases. Though I’m not as familiar with the Amarok, I do know that here in the U.S., when the Touareg went to an 8 speed, they stopped offering the low gear transfer case, likely because they put an extra short 1st gear on the 8 speeds that

Nice grab! Everytime I get the hankering to have some flat 6 music in my life, 986s are exactly where I look... mostly on account of what my budget normally is for purchasing a car (read: virtually free—purchase vehicle with problems—fix said problems or use as opportunity to upgrade—then enjoy).

My snide remarks aside on the 130r in another reply... Thinking about what concepts that didn’t make it into production that I would have really liked... Well, in the ‘90s I was a big Ford fan. I was aware of a couple epic concepts they made in the mid ‘90s. The GT90 and, the one I saw in person at my first Detroit

I’m mad I just found out GM used the term 130R for a vaporware POS.

There’s only one 130R.

Whoohoo, congrats!

Can’t deal with a tan VW interior. Gets too dirty too easily.
