I think the biggest conflict is Honda and McLaren here. Hinch is a very public face for Honda and appears in many of their commercials both on radio and TV, probably print too, but I know for sure I’ve personally seen/heard the former two.

MSergio came back this Halloween for the occasion.. or at least his undead corpse did:

I definitely support the idea.

Hey Kitman, I see you edited your article to remove you saying “Adblue is called that because it’s blue in color” and did so with no public retraction of your poorly researched writing.

Does that mean more diesels??

Great story, Elizabeth.

On the dealer front, it’s not really anything new. They’ve been for years coming up with more and more proprietary systems that are difficult to service, require special diagnostic computers and many, many special tools.

So... LS swap?? :D

Being a VW fanboy, I do like the GTI suggestion. Get the plaid seats, the DSG transmission is fantastic for an auto. Lightning fast shifts, engine revs that rise and fall linearly just like a manual transmission because, well, it almost is. It’s design is much more akin to an automated manual than a conventional

There is some suspect math going on with their rating system looking at it closely.

Oh. My god.

No air bags, very minimal structural integrity or crash testing in comparison to today and a lot less electronics and far, FAR more relaxed emissions standards.

Hmmm, the Reuters article on Daimler is a little vague. It mentions Mercedes bracing for diesel emissions related litigation and that there were delays with the GLS model due to emissions filter R&D.

Boo. Hiss.

The 1 Series of that era never really struck me as “Damn, that’s gorgeous!”

Absolutely. E38 has stood the test of time, it’s just simply a handsome car that no 7 series has since been able to better.

Looks like this thing has buck teeth.

Maybe I’ll start calling them Beaver Bimmers. Beaver Beamers?

Whatever.

Tried searching for my Touareg’s plate, which has been on oppo and Facebook...

Nada. Nothing.

...Yeah.... I don’t think I’d bet against ze Germans at zis point given recent motorsports history.

I appreciate the thought and will to want to improve. Of course reality always makes that a challenge, doesn’t it? Especially when we’re all so dependent on oil for not just fuel, but everything plastic... which is virtually in everything you use every day.
