Know what’s funny? I’ve modified window switches on mk4 and B5 era VWs (late 90s through mid 2000s). They had auto up and down for both front windows, but manual only for the rear.

That is a pretty horrible take by that poster.
Great story. As a real young kid, the first thing that fascinated me about cars was the freedom it afforded its operator and passengers to go wherever they want whenever they want with minimal restriction.
I didn’t say all Americans are idiots (I am one afterall), but often times the ones that buy Corvettes, well, if the shoe fits...
Also, it’s way harder to get a license in Germany, and licensing there requires drivers to test and show competency with understanding chassis dynamics at high speeds... I could easily argue…
These guys were like the Trump of energy drinks...
So long as this means the stay at CoTA, I don’t really care what they do in Miami. Will be interesting to see if there’s a big difference in ticket prices, street circuits certainly have a very different feel to them. Might get better attendance by taking of a city’s center for a weekend.
Sounds about like... a Corvette. A budget performance car that is relatively safe for idiot Americans, but lacks the feel and feedback of more precise European machines.
Haha, the vase was long gone. There was some goofy bendy fake flower in the hole where it used to be when I got it, though. I left it... for a couple days. Got tired of looking at it and it flopping around as I pitch it into corners.
I suppose I can understand the attraction if one has a family and is need of a family hauler. And most people who buy new cars may not have a fleet like some of us twisted sickos who buy old shitboxes and continue to limp them along for years.
I thought Toleman was running a turbo motor, but not one built by any well-funded manufacturer... A Hart 415T.
Definitely buy it, remove all the important parts and swap into a clean Southern or West Coast body.
Same here. I’m terrible at playing the game of sucking up to the right people and trying to talk a lot without actually saying anything useful. I don’t do vague that well, or change my opinions based on perceived popular opinion.
CO2 and a complete lack of oxygen, definitely not a good thing to breath. lol.
If you want to see his info, he’s tracked over 260,000 miles (virtually every tank since he’s owned the car) on fuelly.com.
Yes, it is. Cheating on NOx... and only NOx. Not CO, not HC, not NMOGs, not particulates, just NOx.
My girlfriend, who’s also a bit of a fabric nerd thanks to her mom being a seamstress, absolutely loves the plaid seats. Both of us being VW nerds, she’s always wanted a set.
Sometimes I wonder if the reason why NASCAR is actually kind of entertaining on road courses is because the cars are terrible at it and the drivers have limited experience with it. It creates chaos.
I beg to differ on CO2. CO2 does not cause air quality issues, which is why it’s regulated separately. One set of rules to regulate air quality, the other to try and encourage more efficient vehicles.
Thanks tooef for the clarification. I hadn’t clicked the article previously.
