I worked in restaurants for forever, so I am not surprised by the thumbnails or the frozen part, but I am fucking horrified that you had to pay for dropped food. That’s a fucking travesty and no self-respecting restaurant should permit it. I worked at most levels of food services from McDonalds to white glove in a

Don’t. I used to work there, wearing a tall baker’s hat (although everything is frozen, sometimes for a year, before defrosting). That little dollop of whipped cream at the back of your slice? That’s to hide where our dirty thumbnails stuck into the crust as we plated it. Plus employees pay for every slice they drop,

This is a thing.

That they don’t want to pay Poors. That they’ll attract businesses because said businesses literally will not have to pay people enough money to live and they’ll be the only game in town. That they’ve reinvented indentured servitude and slavery.

Protestors are also alleged to deliberately collide into the volunteer escorts, and sometimes push and shove them, as the escorts try to shield patients from this unwanted physical contact and vitriol.

She DOES ALWAYS makes that face!!

Cool, but as someone who also has a long history of severely disordered eating this seems like it’s going to be a rull fun way for recovered/-ing anorexics to relapse. “To the Bone,” they couldn’t come up with a less melodramatic title?? Jesus.

Same here. 1981,when I was scared and pregnant and could look up Abortion in the yellow pages and go to the clinic free of fear and harassment.

I’ve been size 6-size 22 (currently idling at 14/16). I live in a place with almost no plus-size shopping options past a size 18, so I’ve become a fairly adept and definitely frequent on-line shopper. For the most part, I found the fit, sizing, and quality to be pretty consistent in the brands I’ve listed below,

If there were a God, I would seriously be asking her to bless, keep, and protect Eric Schneiderman.

I buy stuff from all over these days, after not having many options beyond LB. Torrid is great for pants, dresses, swimsuits, jackets, bras, and tee shirts (I don’t go for their tops or Hot Topic type stuff). Torrid is really good about being on trend. I like Old Navy for shirts, workout gear, basics. I shop at

eloquii, simplybe, citychic, if you have money to spend there are some others. Lane Bryant is ok for basics. I have also gotten some cute, pants and dresses from there recently.

Plus most eshakti things have pockets. Life changing pockets.

I have a friend who shops at eShakti and she constantly looks fucking amazing, so that’s an idea.

Eshakti, ASOS Curve, Modcloth if you can stand supporting Walmart.

Dress barn is great for suits, eloquii, eshakti, modcloth, fullbeauty, kiyonna, nordstroms, city chic etc.... all excellent at various price points.

pssssst

Lane Bryant has really upped their game. The downside is that I spend far more money on clothing now :)

Man, I love his response. Bless him. I largely stopped wearing Lane Bryant because there are now better, cooler options (stop selling bedazzled sharkbite hem shirts, goddammit!), but the collaborations they’ve been doing are worth a look.
