Having gone through WD TV Live Hub and AppleTV I finally settled on a Sony NSZ-GT1 and am very happy with the result. The Bluray player is as you would expect, and with an all Sony setup the remote works seamlessly with everything I have (including my DirecTV HD-DVR).

Widgets FTW. Until iOS does widgets (which they will likely never do until the Patent wars die down) they've got no chance of having me as a customer.

Look for earbuds with small driver diameters - iBeats have very narrow drivers and with the small buds on them the will fit the smallest of ear canals. I've also found that Shure e210s have smaller drivers. Skullcandy FMJs are smallish, but the best I've found so far are the iBeats.
