what YOU MFs seem to want is Battle For the Planet of the Apes

I see these being posted under Jalopnik, do you ever create any car enthusiast pieces or are you just posting your opinion pieces on world news and putting them on Jalopnik?    Write something for car enthusiasts and show you actually have some knowledge in automotive.    This used to be a worthy page to follow.

I may be in the minority here, but I think the light show looks cool AF, in a sci-fi, this is the future, cyberpunk, bladerunner 1980's neon hellscape we were all promised. Light pollution from this doesn’t bother me at all, because for 95% of my night driving, the streets and freeways are so well-illuminated, many

Yes, the police are at fault here.

I was going to complain about winter driving in the Rockies, but minefields and any country you can describe as “prerevolutionary” kinda puts my problems in context. Have a star and a “congrats on surviving!”

The minefield between Mauritania and Morocco / Western Sahara is quite tense the first time you drive through it. Stay on the soft sand - if you think you see a road surface, that’s more likely to have landmines.

Big +1 to this. There’s a small shop at the end of my street which has become my go-to for either of the following situations:

I’ve found that I save about 40% taking to independent shops, but yeah. It’s a lot of money.

Very true. Even if you cannot find a garage that will accept you buying the parts. This is still way cheaper to go independent. And there are ton of them for German cars.

My dad had a ‘97 Mercedes C230 that he said was one of the cheapest cars he ever got parts for (except for a replacement key, of course). He does all his own car repairs.

Have you seen the GSX-R 1000?

Utah isn’t exactly Silicon Valley East

Okay so...

Props to Jerod for not denying anything and just going straight at doing it again, and inviting the 3 big youtubers who put out the videos discrediting the official Top Gear video.

The rise of the smartphone makes this a relic of a solution.

You’re off an order of magnitude, at least for towing applications. For example, an F150 at max GCWR of 17,000 with a very modest  rolling resistance @ .015 and 60 sq. ft. of total frontal area with a Cd of 0.5 (which a modest boat might be, but any box trailers would be far higher), and total engine efficiency of 28%

I agree that this C4 is rad to the power of sick!

Needed more Grill. I sent an Invoice to BMW for my work

My highschool hosted a LAN party once, but it was in the cafeteria. A surprising turnout actually. We made like a rectangle of cafeteria tables and filled both the inside and outside edge. We did have an issue with power (someone turned on their big monitor and took out a whole row of computers), and they wouldn’t

Yeah, the 2012s were NOWHERE near reliable, nor was that engine “bullet proof” - McLarens are incredibly unreliable. Source: I owned an early 12C (see avatar). Even 650S’s, 675LTs, and the P1 are grossly unreliable. And now the 570s are trickling in, and they have plenty of issues. My 458, while arguably not as fast,
