I was thinking the same thing, but wasn’t going to say it... My thoughts were more 16 year Lagavulin or a 12 year double wood Balvenie.

I’m glad someone else saw a resemblance to the Spyker interior. Which I currently believe to be the classiest of all interiors in the automotive universe!

The sound of that motor had a pronounced physiological effect on my body.

I also owned an E46 M3. And while it was a great car it wasn’t exactly super light. I also found mine to be a little under powered which lead me to install an ESS supercharger kit on it. It weighed 3400 lbs. I was always impressed with the third gen RX-7 weighing 2700 lbs. Now that’s a full 700 lbs less which is huge.

One of the biggest problems with replacing a windshield is that if you have automatic wipers with rain sensors they will likely not work after the replacement. I once had this issue even after replacing with OEM BMW glass. Researching the issue revealed that apparently even minute differences in the thickness of the

If the louvered top is easy enough to remove when you need to actually use the bed, then its not bad. I somewhat like the look even though I’m not really a truck guy. Again you usually know when you’re going to actually need to use your truck for its intended purpose of hauling something. If its easy to just remove

I love the blacked out roof and pillars, also the hidden door handles really help to give it a sleek look. My favorite SUV’s have always been the X5, but this is gorgeous and I would love to have one. The front is also very aerodynamic and flows nicely without having the current trend of tons of sharp louvers and

The interior was already gutted when they crushed it so I’m hoping it was totaled and irrecoverable when they started the exercise. I’ve been in a second gen MR2 and I do recall even that model had significant body roll for something its size. This surprised me because I was driving a Gen III Supra Turbo at the time.

I would say they only go ballistic because they have not become accustomed to it yet. Have those kids blow chunks a few more times and they’ll get used to it. Its all part of the learning process. I used to think that was super gross too... then I had kids. To be fair they had kids too, but time erases most negative

While you could take that as an insult to your intelligence, trying to literally save someone’s engine from being mangled is actually a very thoughtful thing to have done. This small transgression should definitely be forgiven as the intention was kindness.

Nobody is going to comment that she has a weird looking hand? Take another look. To me it looks like it is made of wax. There are almost no folds or creases where the knuckles are and the fingers look off color and swollen.

Ugh damnit. Again. Why. Just why. Why in the everloving fuck can they not just leave the damn concept car looks? There was nothing so extreme about that design that it couldn’t have gone to production the way it was. Look at the i8, it kept almost all of its crazy over from the concept phase. The pic you posted is a

He’s probably never even looked up Porsche depreciation and assumed they followed the usual Merc/Audi/BMW curve.... Which of course they don’t and not by a long shot.

I have to say the whole electric car thing hasn’t had my interested at all yet. Not in the least big. Mostly due to the fact that every time I see a Tesla all I can do is yawn. Now this. This changes the games. Its gorgeous, it will handle, the design gets me excited. I believe I’ve read that they plan to have the

There certainly is a timelessness about the design. Its just a classic GT car in every sense. One day when I’ve got my dream 12 car garage this might be one of the vehicles in it.

I have to admit the 4.4 TT is not great on gas, but its closer to 15 MPG average. I know that’s not great, but to be honest for an SUV it manages to still be fun, which is rare. Its my wife’s DD, but on the weekends, since we have kids that’s what I drive, so I needed something fun. I do use that V8 to its fullest

They deserve each other

You have excellent taste in vehicles good sir!!! I had the first X5 with the 4.4 which was amazing. Owned it from 60k miles to 140k miles and maybe spent $3k in repairs during that time. It was truly great. I even had dedicated Blizzak snow tires for the winter and it could go through anything. I then got the next one

LOL, IT guy here too... While that works for 90% of PC issues I can only think of a few times that’s ever worked in the automotive world for me.

LOL. Hopefully you have not angered the automotive gods... For in their wrath they may rain upon you varied electrical gremlins, squeaks, shudders, rotted bushings, and non-reproducible RPM specific vibrations
