I was coming here hoping that at least this time there wouldn’t be anything negative thrown his way. This is something truly altruistic and can be applauded by all. I do hope that he’s learning a lesson in public relations with all his recent blunders. I know its crazy but a CEO and board member has a particular role

Wow... what was your issue? I know those have tricky air suspensions as well and my buddy had a Nav/Stereo issue that he couldn’t figure out either. He eventually just replaced the whole unit with a Carplay version that cost around $300. The suspension doesn’t have a super cheap fix.

I have to admit I was going to get the under drive pulley to get boost up to 15 PSI along with the ECU tune. I hear that gets it close to 700 torque... I’m not sure that’s a really smart idea on a 100k mile car though.

Its funny how many people in my life I’ve had to explain to that the maintenance costs aren’t anything more than you’d see on most other cars. Same advice though, never for any reason go to a dealership and you’ll be fine. Then again. Let them all continue living in fear of these and I’ll keep scooping them up for

I like your taste in cars. I’ve owned a CLS55 AMG for 6 years now. I bought it when it had about 60k miles on it and its about to touch 100k. The car has been simply amazing. The car has been low maintenance, then again I’ve learned that maybe my understanding of that term is slightly different than others being that

LOL, I’m going to say this in the nicest way possible. Your friend is fuckin’ moron. I have a CLS AMG. When my brake service light came on, I got a quote from the dealer... It was also a couple of grand. I said eff off, ordered some pads and sensors, after seeing that the rotors were fine. Then I proceeded to change

I would also love to know exactly why small block. If its an LS and it really is as well built as it appears to be on the superficial level we see, I think that’s a fair price and this is probably a really fun car. Additionally I’m going to assume it has a good power to weight ratio and if the suspension is decently

As a father of two I’d like to throw something out there. If your children aren’t well behaved at home, don’t listen, and you generally don’t have very good control over them. This isn’t going to suddenly change on the plane, its actually going to be exacerbated and get worse. Parenting starts at home and good

Well if those particular set of variables don’t occur when the motor is being applied in a range extender setup then perhaps it isn’t a terrible choice. I’m assuming the Mazda engineers know what they’re doing, I just also know the reputation the rotary has for reliability. Since it will be computer/ECU controlled in

Did I miss something? When did a rotary engine become anything other than hideously maintenance intensive?

My friend got one of these new. It was a complete POS. The motor had no power, even when you revved it to the moon, which you had to. The handling wasn’t “crisp” it was just OK. It had a spartan interior and was just generally a really bad car. It is supposed to be a performance model, but handling and power were both

I like the new interior. BMW hasn’t made a major interior control and console design change in what feels like a decade at this point. What I don’t like is that this is the same exact new interior as the X5/X6 interior we just saw. There is absolutely nothing to differentiate the vehicles inside. There are just more

This year’s tower of cars was going to claim or paralyze someone until they roped it off. I believe someone did fall, mangle themselves, and that’s what prompted the tiny bit of safety measure implementation. The very first year I went the very first night we were out my buddy that I came with went on a giant swing

With thousands of witnesses around (albeit, very much under the influence of most likely multiple substances) someone would notice.

This is very true, but there’s a reason that even 3 steps in the front of your house require a railing... because you’re liable if someone injures themselves going up/down them. Having a giant black pit in a museum without it being roped off or otherwise preventing people from falling in it sounds like a pretty easy

Madness. I can’t believe someone stepped into it. That guy was that confident that it was an optical illusion. Wouldn’t you at least reach out your foot first and make sure if it was a hole or an illusion. Also the museum had no barrier around it, I’m assuming that’s a massive insurance liability. I’m betting that

Let’s hope that’s not the case. While nobody likes elitist camps and this one certainly does show many signs of being one... I do actually think that they are doing their best to resolve the situation in an expedient manner. I would hate to see 2019's burn impacted by some failed planning from just a single camp.

While burning man is a place that will certainly give you an over abundance of ways to injure yourself, people don’t actually try to get others hurt. Nobody wants to be responsible for their art car killing someone. Whether it was your fault or not, that is not something anyone wants on their conscience. There is

Not to come to their defense, but the camp did have a plan regarding where the plane would be stored after the burn. The recipient supposedly turned down taking the plane last minute leaving the Big Imagination camp scrambling to find another place/way to store it.

Well you see they towed that thing around while it was blasting music, people were partying, and while they do that there’s hundreds of really high and drunk burners on bikes and on foot swerving all over the place around it. Those cages help to ever so slightly reduce the risk of one of them getting under the wheels
