Thanks, I think! I did something probably unwise to own the Gallardo. When I was a bachelor I lived in a single bedroom condo. When I got married we moved out, but I kept it and rented it out. Eventually it was paid off. Then I sold it and instead of investing in another rental property I bought my childhood dream

It is indisputable that cold weather and summer tires = low traction. I’ve experienced it many times. However, my real argument is that even in the rain with wet leaves on the ground if the McLaren traction control had been on this would not have happened. Those systems are so good at detecting wheel slip that it

Very spot on with this. I own an older 2005 Gallardo and even that has some amazing stability control. I have driven the older MP4-12C and a newer 720S and both of them especially when put on the most safe settings won’t let the rear end step out at all. It is very cool that you can now adjust the drift angle however,

Not trying to be rude, that’s not my style, but you couldn’t be more wrong on this one. Modern exotics have absolutely amazing traction and stability control systems. They used to be two separate types of systems with traction control being more rudimentary and only handling wheel spin on acceleration. Stability

I live in New Jersey and work in the city and I have to say I agree wholeheartedly. I usually call it a trashcan, but toilet is just as accurate. I have been to plenty of other cities and New York is one of the dirtiest nastiest cesspools I have ever stepped foot on. Part of the problem is that I work near Times

Can confirm, the NYC area has tons of AMG’s, the C63 being one of the most common as it is one of the cheapest.

A set of Blizaks would have done him a lot of good too. He could’ve been ripping around like the king of the road instead of inching around like a tool.

Ugh, I must admit that is difficult to watch. If I’m not mistaken one of the reasons the Porsche 959 was never sold in America is due to the number of crash tests they would have had to perform to make it legal. I’m surprised that Koenigsegg is able to afford this. Some part of me feels like they should have some low

That is one extraordinarily gorgeous Supra. I once owned a gen III Supra, but this thing is a true work of art. I have gotten used to seeing tuned Supras, and many of them look good, but this is nearing perfection in my mind. I wonder what its going to go for... I wouldn’t be surprised of something well North of $100k

I like and agree with most of your writing, but I have to say, we’re going to part ways in opinions here. I have a decent stable going these days... X6 4.4 twin turbo, CLS55 AMG supercharged, and a 2005 Gallardo with a very rare 6 speed manual. What do I want to do first.... WELL, yes of course I want to chip the X6,

Forgot to mention... One other thing I did once was renting a McLaren 650 for 4 hours... This was off the track. I split it with a buddy so it ended up being $350 each for 2 solid hours in the car. To me that was possibly the best deal. We had to drive out and away from Vegas but we ended up finding twisty mountain

The cars I’ve driven were the Gallardo, which BTW I loved so much it prompted me to buy a 2005 manual. I also drove the 458, and 430 scuderia. These weren’t the cheapest options, but I wanted to drive cars I didn’t think I’d ever have a chance to own. I later decided that you only live once, sold my investment

Sucks that you had that experience. They are not all terrible though. I’ve rented in Vegas at the race track for 5 laps at time. Depending on what you get its between $250-$500, but you get to go all out. I got up to 135 on the straights and put a 458 in a 4 wheel slide at 90 coming into a turn. They were not in valet

Don’t listen to the haters, that kid made a sick track and I loved it. Perfect with the video, I was laughing my ass off hard from like second :02.

Yeah cutouts are the greatest thing. I had a Trans-AM WS-6 with a cutout and that thing sounded so mean with it open.

I originally didn’t know what I thought of the quad center exhaust, but when you realize that 2 pipes are for the regular exhaust sound and the other two are for the electric cutout that you have from the factory it all starts to make more sense. Its actually completely functional. My buddy has one and his outer two

Agreed. Love the rest of the car, but the front bumper seems to have been pulled directly from a Camaro, looks out of place, and is extremely unflattering to what is otherwise a gorgeous sports car.

That is so damned amazingly good looking I can’t believe it was derived from a Javelin. Its lowered and aggressive and the lines of the original body are modified enough to make the proportions perfect, but also leave it distinctly a Javelin at heart. Amazing work, gorgeous car!

Oh yes, I totally forgot about that one! My girl friend’s dad had one, but he never did let me drive it. Honestly probably smart on his part, I would have ripped that thing a new one. His was red and meticulously maintained. He gave me a ride in it once and didn’t break the speed limit nor accelerate to its ability
