That’s what’s funny, I should like the Z8, but I don’t really think the design appeals to me that much. Surprisingly I like the Z4 better. Now don’t get me wrong here there’s no question which one I’d choose to actually have in my garage.

So much yes on the RX-7. I can’t believe how well that’s aged. Honestly a lot of the Japanese cars of that era still look good to me, including the GT3000 VR3, 300 zx, and supra. I might not have a completely neutral opinion though as I lusted after them all growing up.

Yeah mine always surprises everyone that gets in when I drop the hammer. I get these confused looks, like, “WTF is this car’s problem? I never knew big ol’ Mercs could move like that!!!” I have been so close to putting a stage 1 kit on mine. Just a pulley and a tune can get me over 600 lb/ft of torque. The stage II

It does always bother me when someone trash talks a car and you can tell they are basing all of their opinions on things they’ve heard or read from others. Then again, people shying away from formerly expensive luxury and making them depreciate like stones thrown out a plane have allowed me access to cars I would

Oh believe me the itch to put the Stage 1 pulley and tune on my car has always been there. Honestly, knowing myself and the fact that at one point I supercharged an E46 M3 because it was, “too slow,” I have no idea how I’ve resisted. I think the only thing that’s kept me from doing it is not wanting to break what has

Those are both possibilities, but I would say the drive train is about as solid as it gets. The 55 variants have the older 5 speed tranny. It shifts a little slow, but is unbreakable. I have had one of these for the last 4.5 years and 35k miles and I’ve been beating the everloving piss out of it. It still drives and

Gorgeous. I like your choice in rims... I got the replicas of the rims they have on some of the newer CLS AMG’s... they were cheap and look great. They make the car look a few years newer than it is. I still think the design is timeless, but then again I was always a fan since I chose to buy one.

I have one that I beat the absolute piss out of. The first set of tires I had lasted me 30k miles and the second set is holding up well. Same for brake pads, I’ve gone through one set, and they’re not expensive for this car.

BTW, I have one of these as well and replaced brake pads all around for about $200. I did do the work myself, but pads for this car are amazingly cheap. Instead of using 4 huge ones up front they use 8 smaller ones that are standard sizes for other types of cars. Brilliant!

You are incorrect on your maintenance costs. Nothing you replaced was a maintenance item. Those are all wear items. If you are going to include wear items such as brakes and tires then you should include what you spent on gas as well. Nothing on your car broke and needed fixing, the maintenance cost was $0. That said,

I have owned a CLS55 AMG for the last 4.5 years and the car has been wonderful. As others have commented at some point I may have to change out one or two of the air shocks depending on if they start to leak. So far they are original and they haven’t started leaking yet. Things that did go wrong, I bought the car with

So Tom, it seems that based on the discussions in the forum below we have ascertained that the interest rate on this lease is about 6%. Do you still consider that absolutely insane or will you admit to a bit of clickbaityness? :)

So here’s the thing. I recently bought a Gallardo and I have an average of 820 credit score across the 3 credit bureaus I couldn’t find a loan anywhere for less than that same 6%. Once you go into the exotic car world the rules change. Trust me I tried and I thought the first couple of banks were out of their mind

Well, unfortunately not exactly. This is how rich people get away with having an effective tax rate in the single digits. Their business(es) pay for all of their expenses. I know a guy who has both cars, his apartments, vacations, and basically every expense you can think of paid for by the business. How can that

So here’s the problem. I agree that the rich should pay a fair percentage of taxes just like everyone else. I just don’t think that everyone here understands how they avoid it in most cases. Its not that they declare 10mil income and then come up with 9 mil of deductions and only pay tax on 1 mil. That’s not how it

Buy an older CLS63 AMG. Fast as hell, looks great, and you can get them WAY under your budget depending on how many years back you go. You can’t beat the interior quality, the handling is very decent for something that size, the air ride suspension is the comfiest you’ll be, and you will wreck most things in a

Wow, that’s 13.1% faster. That is quite significant. I wonder if a different ECU tune on the Chiron can overcome that...

I must say I’m looking forward to this and I do always feel that most car shows are very forced. I’ve been an avid Jalop for many years, heck probably a decade, so a TV show would be great. I did try to watch something else from Fusion with lackluster results, but hopefully that won’t be an issue with your content.

You are correct, not a superleggera, although I did get to drive one of those on track once in Vegas. Mine’s definitely not piss off the neighbors loud, the local G35 and mustang guys with exhausts are much noisier!

I hear what you’re saying, but after all it is a wrap. Another could always be made. Furthermore is art not for sharing with others instead of hording in some hanger?
