Laurence Fishburne would've been a good replacement.

Not that I was excited about this film to begin with. But still, this shit is going to continue on like this again for the umpteenth time the

In my head, I'd imagined a voice that sounded like Maurice LaMarche's frog character from MY GYM PARTNER'S A MONKEY. If I would've cast someone that I felt was better suited for the part, it probably would have been Eddie Izzard.
Because almost ALL of the other adaptations of the book have either cut out, combined and/or renamed the characters for whatever reason. …or the director's recent frequently used composer, Johann Johannsson?
Make it into a three-part trilogy.
THAT WAS LARS MIKKELSEN?! I've heard of him, but I haven't seen him in anything. I knew when I heard Thrawn's voice that it had to be some kind of famous character actor or something along the lines. I honestly didn't know that was the person who's been playing him in the show until I read your comment. So far, Lars…
I believe that Wally Pfister directing and Ben Edlund (creator of the original comic book series) writing are the PERFECT duo to handle THE TICK.
I'd say Graham McTavish because IMDB lists a stunt man doubling for McTavish, who hasn't been publicly announced as apart of the show yet, and how he's a great enough character actor to where I could totally imagine seeing and buying him as The Saint of Killers with his grizzled face and gravelly voice.
