OBSERVE & REPORT

I thought for sure during the phone call with Edgar it was about to cut and reveal he had lit his car on fire. maybe next week, since it looks like we're getting an Edgar-centric episode.

True Detective gave us "I will butt-fuck your father with your mother's headless corpse on this god damn lawn" IN ITS FIRST EPISODE. What more did people want???

The funniest thing to come out of this show was the look on Thundercat's face when Hannibal tried to mess with his bass.

My favorite song is "Jay", it's the one that plays when she's putting on her makeup before her date. It sounds really ethereal and reminds me of Vangelis' Blade Runner score.

Really looking forward to THE WITCH. Hope that one continues the "we are always fucked forever" trend.

David Simon's show "The Deuce" about the porn industry starring James Franco (not kidding) just started filming. Plus Danny McBride/Jody Hill have a new 18 episode series that's wrapping this month.

Hey man, maybe STAKE LAND? Pretty cool movie. Was directed by Jim Mickle who did the awesome COLD IN JULY

Bring back one-armed James Badge Dale from season 3

wasn't he just at a reunion recently? throwing the word "queer" around like it was still 2000, the lovable old coot

Isn't that sort of what Frank Darabont wanted to do with season 2 of TWD? I think his original plan for episode 1 was to tell the story of the soldier who Rick finds zombified in the tank.

Elijah Wood's random roles had a surprisingly high number of f-bombs

"Like Cam’ron, it’s tough to tell whether Kreyshawn’s music is intentionally stupid in a way that’s nonsensical and insulting or if it’s avant-garde and surreally silly on a transcendent level."

My buddy and I have taken to calling him Nosferatu. Look at the length of his hands & fingers

Last week's episode was the first I caught since ep. 2 and I just wanted to note that it was directed by Ti West (THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL). I actually found the long-take of the Sheriff searching the house to be a really well-shot, sustained bit of tension.

he's Stan Beeman on The Americans baby, ohhhhh yeah

The deuces he threw to Reggie was the one big laugh I had this episode (aside from my 'what the fuck?!' laugh at the bizarre, stupid, abrupt ending)

DJ SKI MASK

Dude, Bradley Cooper has been nominated for Best Actor 3 years straight

Tyler James Williams, he was just on The Walking Dead for a short stretch this past year
