Thanks for pointing it out. I like the design, too bad it’s so small on the shirt. When they fill up the front of the shirt more, I’d consider buying some.
Not gonna lie. Droolin over the Nascar tires on the chargers. Very nice work! Pretty accurate mod for the 500. 👍
Your customs are way more professional looking than mine lol.
Thank you for the explanations. Based on your photo, the surfaces seem much better than when I was shopping for a printer.
Are those simple extrusions, or did you create/assemble those wheels piece by piece. Does each printer require its own software or can you import specific file types from any 3D program?
What is it…
You printed both colors for each wheel? At the same time?
I made the mistake of getting clear pla that needs 220-240,which has been the source of most of my problems.
Ohhhhhh you are in for some fun! 3D printing is just amazing. Though I will say that printing for 1:64 scale cars can be really hard. I’m finding that smaller prints can be very very sensitive. I just got into 3D this year and I’m still sticking with the basics. For really fun entry level design-your-own parts I…
Found a ton of those in store, went home and asked an LaLDer if he wanted some for the wheels, send back, and couldn’t find them at any stores anymore. That’s a good release.
We appreciate you stopping by though!!
Haha when i saw “judged and prized by hot wheels” I had the same thoughts. But those same people are not involved and this seems much more innocent and less ambitious, so hopefully easier to pull off.
I think some of you have a god given talent as well, this is awesome. Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks! Enamel? Acrylic?
Zoom on a phone vs on a lensed camera is a bit different. On your phone it is a digital zoom, so like zooming in on something on your computer, you essentially have less pixels to work with on your phone-zoom, which is why it probably doesn’t turn out great.
Everyone’s suggestions here are great, but another I’d add is your f-stop or aperture (how open the hole is that lets in light). This controls your focal range (what’s in focus vs not). If I’m reading your top pic right, it says 0.5 up there, which is super low (which gives you a faster shutter for low-light so that…
Mmm, yes. The Riviera is a thing of such baroque beauty that a plain color really lets you appreciate the lines so much better. That is such an improvement.
Totally. That thing was hideous. White lets the casting shine.
Duuuuuuuude! Welcome home. That boat tail Riv came out great! Love the vinyl top
then try silver...
