Thank you for the explanations. Based on your photo, the surfaces seem much better than when I was shopping for a printer.
Are those simple extrusions, or did you create/assemble those wheels piece by piece. Does each printer require its own software or can you import specific file types from any 3D program?

Ohhhhhh you are in for some fun! 3D printing is just amazing. Though I will say that printing for 1:64 scale cars can be really hard. I’m finding that smaller prints can be very very sensitive. Found a ton of those in store, went home and asked an LaLDer if he wanted some for the wheels, send back, and couldn’t find them at any stores anymore. That’s a good release.

Haha when i saw “judged and prized by hot wheels” I had the same thoughts. But those same people are not involved and this seems much more innocent and less ambitious, so hopefully easier to pull off.

Zoom on a phone vs on a lensed camera is a bit different. On your phone it is a digital zoom, so like zooming in on something on your computer, you essentially have less pixels to work with on your phone-zoom, which is why it probably doesn’t turn out great.
