I like the concept and purpose of this but think that Uni-Gawker needs to seriously consider the overall site structure, adding all of these new top-level websites just seems like poor design. Ideally there would be a small number of top-level sites aggregating the content of each of their sub-categories in case…

There is a statement I can agree with. I have friends and family who are in the process of evacuating in Florida, and also family in Texas who went through hell in the last month.
