I don’t see where the team of volunteers was making money off this, read a whole bunch of related articles and it sounds like it was a bunch of volunteers putting in their own money. It also sounds like they “did a lot of shit” to make this version of the game available and possible again so.. there’s that.
Or they now see potential for profit doing it themselves due to the success and will be coming out with something similar.
