At least you have a drain plug. My 95 f250 e4od automatic doesn’t have one, you have to drop the pan and make a mess. If you can siphon a couple quarts out of the dipstick, it’s a bit less messy, but seriously, how much money did they save by not installing a drain plug?

I too remember reading that Gordon Murray designed the F1 specifically as a road car and got frustrated when he found out they were going to do race versions of it. Everything this owner said afterwards just made him sound worse. Who balances tires while going around a track? Is this even possible? Off the shelf v-12?…

Other than its skyrocketing value, what qualities make the F1 impractical? From everything I’ve read it’s a road car you can actually dd, road trip, flog at the track, and enjoy for years. But of course I’ve never driven an F1 nor a Singer. Is the Singer really better?

Do they have to buy snap on? What’s to stop them from getting a chest full of Craftsmen tools from Sears? Then adding specialty tools. I’ve changed transmissions with a $100 toolset from Costco, for crying out loud. I can see them spending $10-20k, but $100k seems silly.
