I love a Eurocentric comment on a Tuesday morning.

I was fully expecting at least one of Billy or Max to have psychic powers, and I was a little let-down when I realized their main powers were being groovy.

Right now I’m getting into a lot of twitter fights with people who are downplaying Rapp’s courage to come forward with the “30 years? really?” line.

As a former grad TA this story got me good, because there are absolutely undergrads who have given me an unsettling feeling/ don’t know boundaries. I have had students finding my personal cell and calling/texting, trying hard to hang out, telling me personal things about myself that they researched from my social

My take on it was that the stalker only intended to stick the note on the window and not be seen, and the selfie catching his hand was pure coincidence. There’s also the take that peeping toms may get a thrill on almost being caught.

I’m not going to be so crass as to say “that’s what she gets” (and in fact I don’t really see any comments to that effect anyway). But I have limited sympathy for someone who willingly aligned herself with Trump for money despite multiple pleas to think about that decision. And I’m not going to be made to feel guilty

It helped itself by at least being self-aware of its schlockiness. But you’ll also forget about it in two weeks.

The sad part is that these wypipo are doing better than average because they at least asked. A lot of them will straight up start their inspection with no permission, if you have the misfortune of standing in front of them at the checkout line.

I saw a really good documentary about this very topic, called Get Out

I noticed this too. As soon as she described her first child I was holding my breath to see what the description was going to be for the rest.

I was pleasantly surprised by her performance in The Babysitter. Although to be fair she was really playing to type in that role.

Obvious and unnecessary hyperbole from a troll account with 3 posts? Why, you can blow me down with a feather!

Somebody who believes a certain group of people are inherently inferior cannot be a nonbiased teacher

One thing that I find kind of weird about this is that American Airlines is singled out. Because to me, I lump in AA with every other major, faceless airline corporation. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely believe all the recorded incidents, but what is it about their policies, hiring practices, or working

There are absolutely people who buy new shoes, new games, new cars, new gadgets, new clothes, or whatever else their “thing” is, quite frequently. At least with smartphones there’s a relatively predictable resale market, so having the latest and greatest every year is not really that expensive compared to upgrading

Literally every source I can find references the Jimmy Kimmel interview, so what other sources are you talking about?

I think I’d enjoy him more if the show in general went more all-in to the whole, campy comic book vibe. As it is, Negan’s character just seemed tonally way off from the rest of the characters (at least in the early part of the season where I stopped watching).

Thank you! I was wondering who to complain to but I’m glad it’s being worked on. :)

I jumped ship after Negan was introduced as the latest big baddy. I actually like Jeffrey Dean Morgan, but I feel like I’m taking crazy pills when I hear all the praise for his character portrayal. Negan just seems so over the top and campy, even for this show.

Ah, nepotism. That about covers it.
