However, having written that, I’ve also seen events of people paying a, to me, far disproportionate a price for dumb tweets or comments from ages ago because of that current social media backlash.

I wish people would be honest about this discussion. It isn’t about morality, it’s about money. There is a lot of money to be made with streaming and those fueling the fire in arguments like this are the ones not getting the money. Our (U.S. at least) society has traditionally used morality as the framework for these…

Quality of life surveys and a country’s ability to deal with real structural and financial issues are not the same thing. As fucked up as the US is in a lot of ways, we are still in the lead to deal with things. 

He should never, ever cover his brother in a serious capacity. Doing a light hearted interview once for laughs - fine. But otherwise it’s too fraught with potential bias and there’s no way to do it that would be free of criticism, even if he was able to do it completely objectively and professionally.
