I do think this undersells the relative level of emotional peace that can come from living under executive branch leadership that isn’t actively hateful towards you. America was never perfect or even great for black people, but you got folks getting “election stress disorder” with Trump in power. Now IMO that’s sure…

It’s true that it is much easier to swing an axe, though that’s where if you want to make it a bit more of a workout you can use the maul. I think once I got old enough to swing the maul I liked the feel of the heavier tool and got precise enough to use it even on fairly small pieces.

A maul is good for knotted, wet wood and big ass pieces from near the stump. I also used it for wet wood generally because if you do get the crack then it’s over. With the axe on wet wood it can get stuck.

I love reading instructional manuals on chopping wood as a leisure activity, just so I can laugh at the idea of splitting wood as a leisure activity.

I would be too, but these are very straightforward questions being asked in the context of the debate and dodging them provides a very clear talking point for the Trump campaign.  Biden has come out and said they will answer that question “after the election”, which might be adequate ... but we’ll see.

That’s why Congress should pass legislation giving regulators a clear legal basis to step in  regulators should step in, ensuring the transition away from fossil fuels happens in a carefully planned manner that protects workers from being left with nothing.

I do think the steady dodging of the question on court packing isn’t great. They need a direct answer to that question.
