I would guess AI drivers are programmed to drive differently on different roads or parts of the map. Maybe this turn is supposed to be a place where they “change gears” so to speak, but its programmed a little wonky so they do so too early. I can’t remember, are there cutscenes besides the memories that you can view in the pause menu? Because getting your first memory takes awhile, and some sidequest stuff, so wouldn’t you kind of have to go out of your way to be able to trigger this glitch?

Not the first thing that I would hope for hearing the terms “Retro Studios” and “Star Fox” but, I’d be willing to give it a chance. I don’t hate the idea, and I’d say Retro has earned some degree of trust over the years.
