Well, why do the Asgardians leave the Aether with this “Collector” guy? Or really, you could ask such a question of any Marvel stinger that introduces a character for the first time. (Well... except Iron Man 1, since Fury says who he is and why he’s there). Comic fans will understand and be like “Ooh, ahh,” but casual

There’s multiple songs. Not just the Hasselhoff one.

Some people pissed on GotG 2 for having too many post credit scenes but 1) They’re all good and 2) The credits themselves are fun, not just boring white-text-on-black and feature good music. I mean, we got to see Gamora and Nebula disco dancing. What’s not to like?

Well, Pokemon always has some disturbing stuff. At least its the good kind of disturbing, though.

Cool, cool.

A lot of the DC actors get shit for being “bland” and “depressing” but they don’t have a lot of say in the matter. They just tend to get stuck with shitty scripts and plots.

Maybe its the delivery or something about the scene (haven’t seen the movie), but just reading it here the line doesn’t sound THAT bad. Cheesy as fuck, maybe, but not terrible.

Makes list of awesome guest characters in fighting games.

But will he suck blood or plasma... with hand.. sucker things? (seriously, what was Fox Kids thinking with that? Kids know what a vampire is)

I’m not gonna lie, seeing the “Fox wants to narrow its focus to news and sports” worries me more than anything else about this deal. The last thing we need is MORE Fox News.

Sounds less all over the place and more mixed-to-positive. Which means I’ll probably like it.

Gonna see the movie again either this weekend or next, but when you say “pretty obvious flash of green energy,” this isn’t gonna be like the time people said Rocket was holding a twig during the Infinity Stone scene in Guardians, is it? You know.. which he absolutely isn’t.

Hmm... Not sure if I’m feeling the suspenders, but otherwise looks fine. Of course, we don’t know what this Doctor’s personality is gonna be like yet. As long as the personality compliments the outfit, it’ll be fine.

I don’t get why people are so quick to get the hammer back. Yeah, its a cool weapon, but... were they not watching the movie? Thor doesn’t need it. Maybe if someone else “becomes Thor” like in the comics, then we’ll see the hammer again.

Halloween 3 pissed off audiences by not having Michael Meyers after just 2 movies. Getting rid of the Alien after 6 films (if you count Prometheus. Oh, and please let go of your “pretending 3 and 4 didn’t happen” thing for a second, its not the point), plus 2 AVP movies, plus comics, books, video games... I don’t

Then cut it from the Chinese release. Movies have to cut stuff differently for different countries as is.

B-but.. he said he didn’t say that! Don’t you believe him?

Someone farther up the page suggested keeping the X-Men series seperate from the rest of the MCU (aside from the occasional crossover), so that might be a way around this problem.

This is mostly because the characters refer to each other by real name, though. Spider-Man Homecoming, as well as some scenes here and there throughout the movies, suggest that civilians and heroes not in that social circle do use their code names.
