How do you define something being “diversity for diversity’s sake” though? Seems like a slippery slope here, because you could almost argue that anytime someone is confirmed as gay in a work of fiction, its “diversity for diversity’s sake.” That’s more cynical than I’d like to be.
Playing the game myself a bit more, instead of just watching footage, somehow its not as jarring as I was feeling at first.
It looks great, and very well drawn. But the art style itself, I’m still not so sure on. It looks a little more Rayman-y then I’d like. Again, not calling the art BAD, just takes some getting used to.
Not sure about the design, but I’d be in favor of some type of Zelda shoes.
This is kinda selfish, but as long has Hollywood stays away from Dragon Ball (...again) and One Piece, I’ll be okay.
