In my days we just called them cunts. Face it, everyone hates women. Even other women. They are manipulative, petty, argumentative, irrational, emotional, jealous creatures. We can all be pretty sure WM is not innocent. While his mother was Hispanic, his father was white, and I’d say he passes as white/benefits from white privilege, and I wouldn’t call him poor, either. Also, doesn’t Nevada still allow death by firing squad?

I would not be sad if this particular guy kicked the bucket tomorrow, but the death penalty cannot be implemented without accepting some innocent casualties. We can tell ourselves we will only execute the “really guilty” ones, but that has always been our intention, and that has never been the way it has worked out.

That’s the issue with the legal system isn’t it? Someone has to be the (kind-of literally in this case) devil’s advocate. And as we all know, devil’s advocates are invariably assholes.

Well one is harassment (quite vile and damaging but still a lesser crime than assault) and threats (which is legally more serious than harraemt but still less than assault) while the other is assault (which is usually near the top of seriousness).
