Amy Schneider’s identity is as a trans woman! You don’t get to dictate to her what her identity is and what her goals are. It may be your goal to be fully incognito, but that is apparently not hers, and I’m not sure why that is such a problem for you. 

She identifies as a trans woman. She identifies as a trans person, and she identifies as a woman. Maybe your conception of your identity is that you’re a woman, full stop, and further that calling yourself a “trans woman” is adding an unnecessary qualification to that identity. It’s not hypocrisy for a website that affirms Schneider’s identity to criticize those who would erase it.

So you’re upset that people are using a shower at a facility that has a shower? Locker rooms are places where it is understood that nudity is appropriate. It’s unfortunate that your personal squeamishness makes you uncomfortable, but that doesn’t mean you get to impose unreasonable conditions on everyone else.

I find Jeopardy much more engrossing when someone is really on a run. It creates a sort of “Beat the Expert” vibe, except more organic. It’s better than just three random schlubs struggling to remember obscure European monarchs or whatever. It also creates buzz for the show.
