Yeah man, you’ve found the solution to a few hundred thousand years of human horniness. 

Nah, they basically affirmed it. It’s the Supreme Court.  They’re the final word on any matter of federal law, including federal constitutional law. This is exactly what they want, and their preferred method for doing it. 

What makes you think it is going to be shot down?  Who do you think is going to do the shooting?  Texas state courts?  The uber conservative 5th Circuit that took the nearly unprecedented step of canceling a district court’s hearing on the law?  The Supreme Court that just voted to allow this law to go into effect?

I think HIPAA has an exception for court orders/subpoenas, so if the case proceeds to discovery, I don’t think HIPAA prevents disclosure to the parties in the case.
