Your point about teaching acceptance holistically, rather than just policing language, is well-taken, but I also think not using insulting language is part and parcel of acceptance. And obviously the opinion of a particular group about acceptable language to describe that group is paramount. But I’m also not sure what

I didn’t think this show was all that—the writing felt a bit obligatory, like they felt the need to offer the broadest possible take on every single thing that has happened since the last show—but oh man was it refreshing to go an entire show without them leaning on the crutch of “surprise” cameos for easy audience

“We are not in the chicken sandwich wars anymore after you eat our sandwich. It is phenomenal.”

Lol, I mean, it’s not even a “social media” thing, it’s basically just a way of saying goodbye. It’s like a fucking sign off man. I don’t know what kind of videos you watch on YouTube, but this is like if a kid was telling a story and said “The End” at the end, and you said “That’s fucking disgusting” because you saw

It is true that a parent can be vicious to their kids while appearing normal and loving to everyone else, but I’m not sure I see how that is relevant to Kellyanne Conway?

It’s a sign off. It’s no different than someone saying “Goodbye” or “Goodnight” or anything else at the end of a TV show or something. It’s completely innocuous. All it means is that the kid has seen some YouTube videos. The only thing you seem to be objecting to is the fact that YouTube videos exist, and that parents

That’s a fairly common way for people to talk. All it means is that the kid has seen some YouTube videos (maybe a lot of YouTube videos). I don’t see what’s so nefarious or “fucking disgusting” about that. It’d be like a kid who’s seen TV shows saying “We’ll be right back after this message” or something.

Why?

“As matter approaches the universal speed limit of c, it’s mass approaches infinity.”

Among other things, they killed George’s fiance on the cusp of a wedding he was desperately trying to get out of, played it entirely for laughs, and capped it off with him trying to plan a date around the funeral.

Why?  Because he committed one crime of passion?

Lol.  “People who live in D.C. should not complain about being inconvenienced.  Also, here’s me, complaining about being inconvenienced when I lived in D.C.”  My man, you are a treasure.

This is what makes D.C. a “terrible place”?  That people sometimes get (understandably) upset at being anywhere from mildly to seriously inconvenienced?

this ain’t it bro

they let these fucking crackers take over the goddamn capitol building!

Also assuming Capitol Police didn’t need very many boxed lunches because it doesn’t appear more than a dozen of them showed up for work yesterday.

I am endeavouring to understand the context wherein using the old name isn’t objectionable

In all honesty, I have no idea what particular point of mine you are meant to be arguing against. Like, when you say “where do you draw the line,” I’m not aware of any line I drew or attempted to draw anywhere, and the rest of your post only gets more incomprehensible from there, at least as far as being relevant to
