If having ever been ignorant or done something wrong in the past is a disqualifier for growing into a decent person

I don’t think gun control was such a hot button issue when Mansfield was in the Senate. Vietnam War skepticism would have positioned Mansfield as more in line (at least nominally) with Nixon by 1968. And during his term as Senate, two Democrats were elected governor of Montana. So I’m not sure Mansfield is exactly

Thanks, I literally made that point about the new deal, but thanks for the thousand word essay explicating it for me as if I didn’t.

I agree that the sorts of voters I’m talking about consider maintaining their racial status important. But there are a few possibilities here:

fuck off.

Abrams isn’t that progressive. Why do you think Republican-lite Democrats would fare well? Who does that appeal to? Have you been paying attention to how much Democrats have been losing at all levels? The strategy Democrats have had since basically Reagan is to back moderate Democrats in swing districts/states. Do

Who is the dumbass judge in this case?  Prior restraint is basically always unconstitutional. If the release of the book would violate an NDA, the remedy is damages under the NDA, not an injunction. This judge would get an F in any First Amendment law class.

You’ll have to cite specifically what research you’re referring to. But it seems to me that Republicans have gained a foothold in winning the votes of lower income white people, especially in rural areas, since 1968 but especially since 1980, despite favoring policies that help rich people at the expense of not rich

fuck off

In 2018, swing state Democratic Senator ran trying to be moderate (or conservative) and every one except Manchin lost even though it was a favorable year for Democrats. Why exactly do you think so many people in places like West Virginia and Alabama and Kentucky and other states with a high number of rural, working

McGrath’s status as a veteran and a fiscal conservative who opposes Medicare-for-all and free college and the abolishment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement means she appeals to the average Kentuckian far more than Booker’s Bernie-adjacent politics.

They should be locked up, as I’m pretty sure brandishing a deadly weapon, unprovoked, is a fucking crime. Also, you could make a pretty decent argument that if anyone of the protesters had been carrying (concealed carry is legal in Missouri with the appropriate permits) they would have been justified in firing at

Okay. Seems like she probably needs to have a discussion with her husband, then, about taking her picture and plastering it on Twitter to try to score points against some restaurant.

Maybe you should ask the guy who tried to publicly call out a restaurant on Twitter with a picture of his wife looking like she just lost her entire family because it was taking a while to get her shredded cheese.

Well, if he didn’t realize that the tweet would be viewable by everyone who uses Twitter, someone should explain to him how Twitter works (and probably you too, since you think a straightforward description of Twitter as a very public forum is “nonsense.”).

A public blood letting? I think you might be the one who needs to chill. The dude is getting mocked, not murdered.

Yes. Sent a public tweet, on their public twitter account, tagging the “offending” restaurant in the tweet, apparently hoping to garner sympathy and also shame the restaurant. Kind of seems like the backlash is their own fault for misjudging public sentiment.

Lol, well there you go.

I didn’t talk about the ACA at all. I talked about how shitty his ideas about healthcare were. In the very first paragraph of my post. It is the first thing you would have read if you read my post.
