There are firefox addons for youtube videos, but I never tried them. Search for "stop autoplay" or similar. Don't know about other browsers or other type of videos...

Is there somewhere one can request no autoplaying videos here, ever? Been semi-lurking on Jez forever (way before Kinja) but this one will be the first dealbreaker if it becomes a thing.
