Oh man, her accusations really hit home with me. My father behaved similarly and it took a long time for me to understand that just because he didn’t rape me didn’t mean it wasn’t sexual abuse.

Considering the vitriol, condemnation and death threats women receive for speaking up about sexual assault by a white conservative male, simple speaking up is almost certainly a guarantee that it’s true.

That is so disturbing! She consistently advocated for herself for 10 years and no one helped! (Also, to hell with her mom!! how could you witness your daughter being abused like this and then try to subvert her appeals for justice?). I’m furious there is no further justice for Laura.

You would have to have some incredible hostility towards your father to accuse him of sexually assaulting you for years like that. In fact the only thing I can think of that would create that kind of hostility in a person is being abused (sexually) for many years by that parent. The circle closes.

Holy sh*t. That girl’s entire life is a case of #whyIdidntreport. She DID report....to pretty much everyone....for years....and no one did a damn thing.

There is nothing nice about someone who wants to force women in to back alleys for unsafe abortions, who wants to take away worker’s rights, disenfranchise voters, give supreme power to an orange madman... I could go on and on but you get the message. The republican’s policies are evil. People who preach evil are evil.

He calls birth control ‘abortion inducers’. And yet, he has only two children. Hypocrisy, thy name is Rethuglian. And WTF is nearly every SCOTUS justice Roman Catholic? Gorsuch was too but quietly became Episcopalian aka Catholic Lite, per the Kochs.

That was satalac, not Sheesh. And from there came a normal discussion between people who disagreed with the size of a role Bobby Brown played in Whitney Houston’s end. Was quite respectful, nary a name called or goal post moved.

He also didn’t keep himself safe. It seems to me that she introduced him to harder drugs, given that she was older and already into at least coke. And again: These two divorced years before her death. She had all kinds of family issues. It makes no sense to blame him. I really don’t get it.

Whitney was getting it in (drug use) before she met Bobby. Don’t let the good girl image Clive Davis sold to the world fool you. 

Interesting that you are the one making personal attacks and calling names, though. A person isn't trolling just because they say something you disagree with. 

Of course he had a negative effect on her. But did he cause her death by overdose years later? No. I think it’s strange that people act like Bobby, at least 7 years younger, must have introduced Whitney to drugs and then I guess forced them on her? She had been dabbling since she was younger. I tend to think she…

That about sums it up for me.
