From what I can judge though, the man was trying to disable the car by shooting at the trunk/tires.
What I don’t understand, is that if he was under threat of “robbery”, then when why would he try to stop “escaping” thieves in a car unless something was actually stolen? A lot of stuff doesn’t logically make sense here…
