Not just assault, but life-threatening assault. Motivated, most definitely likely, by racial hate or at the very least informed by it to terrorize and harm. There is no circumstance under which I can see these young adults (which, btw, is how teens are referred to when they’re not committing felonies) not being deemed…

Exactly! If that young boy had died, I bet the police chief would still say the same thing.

Had this been a little white child and Black teens, you’d see them tried as adults.  

Don’t forget the lack of attention for the white teen who forcefully sodomized a disabled black teen and got almost no punishment because the judge claimed he didn’t deserve any.

That statement makes me so angry. What about the trauma that this boy will experience for the rest of his life? I can’t imagine having been his age and some malicious teenagers decided to fucking hang me from a tree and no one gave enough shits to make sure that the people who harmed me had to pay the consequences.…

This uncle, as well as others of “us”, need to recognize/be educated how to talk to media, etc. Especially the white media. Because they play these white teenagers as children, too. My opinion is this was a stone cold act. Thank goodness got loose.
