It's not about materialism, exactly. There are 5 K's in Sikhism, and one of them is Kesh, the uncut hair. It's a pillar of the religion. Cutting your hair is forbidden; cutting your fingernails is not.

Dodai, this is an extremely well written article, in my opinion. I love what Gaga did, and I love your response. Pretty much perfect.

Thank you! Good to know.

And that was the last time anyone EVER saw them.

OOH or Sean Penn in "The Game"! "They fuck ya and they fuck ya and they fuck ya, and just when you think the fucking's over, that's when the REAL fucking starts!!"

Now playing

I've never seen the show, but I love Willam because of the chick-fil-a video he did with Michael Serrato and My friend Mark Byers. Y'all, go watch it and everything else they've ever done!

I have never said this about a fashion show before EVER, but I would totally wear almost all of those things, and actually look good in them! Playing to my India obsession didn't hurt either.

One time, I had a dream that Jason Bateman was one of my good friends, and we held hands and he hugged me. It was the best dream ever. Sigh.

Wow. I'm a drinker and do bike deliveries, so I pop a couple pills a couple times a week, but I always stick to naproxen aka alieve. Is that ok? Will I owe you money if you answer this?

Rrrrowl! Makes me want to sign up for the Sears mailing list!

Oh good, I was just thinking to myself, "It's been too long since I've fallen in love with a random stranger on the internets."

One I get all the time in my neighborhood that has always grossed me out is "Mamacita." I am not little and I'm not a mother, so... It's like combining "baby" and "mama" into a whole new nastiness. Ick.

I don't think teenagers are children. But I think that people who feel trusted have an easier time becoming trustworthy, and learning to make adult decisions and become responsible. I'm not saying teens shouldn't have to tell their parents where they're going or whom they are going with, but they should be able to

I am utterly confused by the idea that someone who has struggled through depression and drug abuse and all that can suddenly turn around and be all, "It's not that hard to be perfect; just eat blueberries and gyrate a lot!" She's been through the whole "Why should I ever bother to wash my hair again" thing, and yet

Wow, your dad sounds intelligent, caring, trusting/trustworthy, and respectful. Consider yourself very, very lucky. And congrats on whatever you're doing to earn that sort of relationship!

My best friend has an IUD and uses the Keeper (which I accidentally called a Trapper in another post. Ha). No problems. You may want to get another opinion. I read that Diva says not to use them if you have an IUD, but other brands say it's okay, so.... Huh.

I've had a Diva cup for years now and I love it. My friend switched to the Trapper or something and likes it better because it's more rigid and supposedly lasts longer, but I have no problems. You don't need to rinse it every time; I think people just prefer to.

I can see why it's being bottle fed. The mom must have been all like, "OW OW OW STOPPIT OW OW OW CALM DOWN OW OW WHYYYYY??!!!"

Hey everyone, BTW, this article is NOT ACTUALLY ABOUT AMERICAN GIRL DOLLS. Just for anyone who was confused. It's about the fact that our society's priorities are way out of whack and are dementing the children, and that it makes most of us want to vomit little Gucci emblems out of our D&G coated tummies.

I think that for a lot of men, the idea of wanting to put it in another guy is repulsive and incomprehensible, so they totally don't get gay guys. On the other hand, wanting to put it in a lady is the most natural thing in the world (duh), so lesbians obviously have the right idea. It's just more SANE, you guys.
