@valdesjon: you mean from "off to on" or Like when the platter is moving but you're holding the record still waiting to release it? Either way it should be almost instant response. if you don't press really hard, it should be almost instant. like when you let go the words shouldn't slur much at all. you can hold it

@Fill Matic: With all do respect. I think it's virtually impossible to do a lot of stuff on low end turntables. I mean i dj'd only vinyl. no cds no digital audio. On low end tables backcues are in accurate, the words slur on restart even with the lightest touch. And when you backcue by reversing the record say 4 or 5

Crap! i got real happy till i read the darn update of a Hoax! my club continues to spiral down the tubes.

i'm a former dj. one piece of advice is if you buy a set of turntables just bite the bullet and buy a halfway decent direct drive turntable with good torque. 1200s are always great but there are other competent ones.

@blyan: by practice i was trying to say boxers DO NOT train at grappling so the boxer wouldn't know how to deal with that.

@blyan: he doesn't get knocked out cause it's mma. they arent' great technical boxers and even then he has kicks, knees and elbows to use as defense to counteract his flaws. i'm pretty convinced his unorthadox style would get him hit a lot. especially with floyd who throws lots of punches at odd angles too. as for

@blyan: You're probably right cause boxers don't ever practice kicking and grappling and stuff. Now much better? not sure. like they say everyone has a plan till they get hit.

@blyan: no roy jones but he's a great boxer and amazingly quick. Now there's one. Roy Jones Jr. in his prime in a boxing match vs. Silva. Now that i have zero doubt Roy Jones would beat the shit out of Silva. Maybe two rounds. Cause Jones was a great technical boxer, fast as hell and knockout power. Plus a whole lot

@blyan: yep i've seen that one before. it's a good video. that said lots of kicks and ground work which would only work in mma. stand up didn't look great. put peep the mayweather defense and offense vids. he's got mad skills. offensively he's not roy jones in his prime but he's accurate.

@blyan: yes i have seen a lot of his fights. and i've seen the video you post below as well. What i'd say from a boxing stand point is he's good for an MMA guy. But he's not good for an elite boxer.

@fullcircle: Got the goal yesterday though. Could have had a brace. A decent start.

@blyan: to me that's the point. if you get either out of their element they are gonna have problems. silva is kinda off balance and throwing loopy punches. mayweather has ridiculous defense and is fast as hell and an accurate puncher. in a boxing ring silva would get dotted all over in my guess cause he wouldn't be

@blyan: two different sports. Silva is 185 pounds. Mayweather fights at 140.

i haven't "upgraded" to a touch because it doesn't have the storage that my regular ipod has. so it's not much of an "upgrade."

to Henry's credit he's done more press in a week then golden fraud did all the time he's been here.

@Paolo.Lex: what's bad is i've stopped it at 13 seconds so i haven't even gotten that far.

@The_Vitto: that's just stupid. apple DOES NOT ask for the phone back after you buy it. you keep it. the guy said you're "renting" the phone. you are not. it's yours forever.

@The_Vitto: no it doesn't. apple doesn't ask for it back. it's like any other phone you buy. you buy it you use it. it works on a network. don't like it don't buy it. but you're not getting any better deal buy buying a droid, pre, blackberry whatever. it's not going to work on certain other networks either. and even
