I’m so sorry, I lost my mom when she was 64, and it was a super aggressive uterine cancer, diagnosed in Jan and gone in Dec. It was an incredible amount of suffering; as others have said, I will certainly choose to go my own way if the diagnosis is terminal.

I’m sorry brother, my mom had uterine cancer and the same thing happened to her.  She asked for medically-assisted suicide but it wasn’t legal in Canada yet.  The swelling in her abdomen was horrific; she was drained at ER once, but when it happened again they said they couldn’t do anything. Her last days were spent

Yeah agreed, especially when she added that she’ll go to school nearby and come around a lot.  I didn’t think that could be just some polite b.s.

To echo some others, a C+ is a goddamn outrage. But then, I can’t recall a single episode this season I would give less than an A-.  This is one of the best, most touching, most human shows I’ve ever seen (and it’s funny as hell too).

I had the same thought after my mom died; I figure she looks away during private moments, similar to what she would have done in life haha.  Take good care.

I agree with the sentiment, though I would put Star Treks Picard and Discovery even lower haha

I loved season 1, but to me and my friends, the quality went down noticeably even in just s2.

Great observation!

I think DoFP is not only the best X-Men film, but one of the best superhero films generally. Everything about it worked so well: the production quality, the performances, the emotional resonance of the story. I certainly put it in the top 5 superhero flicks of all time.

Coming in 11 years later, I think this is a perfect read of Tony B. The problem is none of these guys can hold down regular work, knowing about the “shortcut” opportunities of mob life. The only people who can handle real work are the people who were smart/moral enough never to get into mob life in the first place,

I would also add Prodigy!

This is absolutely brilliant, but my 8 year old wants nothing to do with it (and he’s seen a lot of star wars). He watched the trailer and was like, nah, not for me (specifically, no Jedi, the Force or Darth Vader?!). After the first episode, I understood that his instinct was entirely correct haha

Andor is easily on track for being the best star wars ever. Also easily the least interesting to kids and fans of star wars.

Let’s be honest guys, this is the best Star Wars material ever produced. Now speaking seriously, I acknowledge that it’s a “supporting” show that can’t exist without the founding movies, so leaving out the sacred episodes 4 and 5, you’ve basically got Andor, Rogue One, and some of Mando. What a freaking beautifully

Maybe they'll even depict an Asian American male positively this time!

Absolutely agreed.  Having a misunderstanding be depicted as the trigger for Alicent’s going to war with Rhaenyra is cheap and gimmicky.  Given that conflict was inevitable, due to all the politics and motivations that have been building up, this was not necessary and didn’t add any depth to the story.

I don’t like that the last 3 min is depicted as the trigger for Alicent going to war against Rhaenyra. I get that the conflict is pretty much inevitable, with all the bad decisions Viserys made and how the queen and princess’s interests are at odds, but to use a misunderstanding like that to show the hardening of

This episode is the first I actually enjoyed. The rest have been competently made but just really boring.

Yep, I’ve never said this about any reviewer on any site, and I understand we’re all human and make mistakes, and art is subject to interpretation, but this reviewer is truly incompetent. There have been basic plot/fact errors in I think every review. It’s absolutely unprofessional. The only real value we get out of

Favourite episode so far. Love all the ISB scenes and the general focus on administration and relationships. It doesn’t feel like “star wars” at all; kind of like a cross btw blade runner and a revolutionary war docu-series ...
