Is an especially dumb argument since we are talking about *writing* and narrative design. I could buy it if we were talking about a subject which absolutely requires years of intensive training and arcane knowledge.

Every single conviction obtained by these assholes needs to be vacated, now.

Take a look at Deroir’s first tweet to Jessica Price. He was incredibly polite, thanked her for the discussion and made it absolutely clear he was only offering HIS thoughts on the problem she was describing in that thread.

Conversely, I wonder how many of the people saying she shouldn’t have been fired were cheering on the dozens of social media firings we’ve had in the last 12 months alone. I’m gonna take a stab in the dark and say it’s a lot higher than your number.

the author here is trying to provide a narrative but it isn’t really the whole story they are leaving out plenty to make it seem more outrageous.

Not participating in social media at all seems like the best thing to do these days.

The Democratic establishment ARE conservatives. They want everything to keep going on as it always has, maybe with some progress on social issues. Keep the money flowing to the top. They only LOOK vaguely progressive because Republicans have whole-heartedly embraced regressing to some mythical past at this point.
