There’s been some research that bears it out. I’m old, so cholesterol is not just an academic issue for me, but I’m not overly concerned. My internist’s take is that what you eat/drink doesn’t contribute all that much to your overall cholesterol levels anyway.

I used to grind my beans to a fine powder but now I grind them to a course consistency. I like that a lot better overall.
I think if you are getting silt then your grind is too fine, a courser grind will usually eliminate that problem. The other method is to grind the beans and then place the grounds a paper towel, and then scrape them off. By doing this the small holes in the paper towel will catch the fine grounds.
This is way more polite than just giving someone else the first waffle.

Rec: put a small foil tray or fold some heavy aluminum foil into a boat, really anything grill safe to catch whatever liquid the sweepo releases. That stuff is super high in sugar, reduces to pure carbon in 0.000000003 seconds and does NOT like to come off of its bonded surface.
