I don’t know the name of that fallacy in English. And no one its suggesting a ban. I certainly did not. All I said was that what she did was foolish, will aggravate our environmental problems and that it was not heroic. Or laudable. I don’t know who brought up the idea of a “ban,” but I sure did not.

It’s not a question of my judgement, it’s a question of whether all of us are going to have any food to eat or any clean air to breathe. No couples on this planet should have more than two children. My judging people, whether they are the Duggars or Ms. Couch, is not what is going to kill millions over the next few

There’s nothing wrong with telling people to be socially responsible about their life choices.

No, because I was not suggesting that someone should have passed a law forbidding her to have that many children. I was saying that what she has done is foolish and should not be celebrated. These are two different things.

If some writer chooses to lionize someone for doing something I consider to be insanely unwise, I’m entitled to comment on it. I didn’t suggest that I should have control over her reproduction, just that her choices are killing the planet at an accelerated rate, and that is nothing that anyone should be lionizing her

We are living in the SIXTH great extinction of all life on this planet.

I’m happy for her if she’s happy but this might be a good time to remind people that the WHO recommends 2 years between pregnancies so that a woman’s body can fully recover from child birth.
