‘…not everyone with differing view points are evil.’

I somewhat agree with you, but at this point the Republican party is, in fact, evil. Democrats aren’t saints, but at least they do police their own in a way that the Republicans simply DON’T anymore.

In my professional experience both are prone to failure because both can be done improperly. I’ve seen countless examples of poorly executed examples of both. It all depends on who is doing the job and whether or not they know what they are doing.

I would say the right way would be weatherpack connectors.  Or the OE version of such.  Solder isn’t bad either but it definitely has a habit of shaking apart. Always used weatherpack for connections on my circle track cars just for that reason.

crimping was invented because electrical connections were prone to failure in WWII aircraft due to vibration. They did extensive tests and crimping did best.

No, not in an automotive application. And assuming they are done correctly of courses.

Yeah, I’m calling shenanigans on that one. Soldered joints aren’t prone to failure due to vibrations. Every module in the car has hundreds or even thousands of them. *Unsecured* joints are prone to failure due to vibration, particularly badly created joints. Soldering isn’t that hard, but there is some skill and a bit

Cybertruck & Offroad.

Surprise? I haz none.

At this point, you’re a complete fool if you believe a word that man says.

Geez, what does Porsche call that paint, Android Oatmeal? Of course Zuck buys such a soulless non-colour.

The duality of man.

I was fortunate to install a Toto washlet in April 2020. It was the best decision ever.

He has a Figaro! But in typical Nissan Pike car fashion, it only looks like it has sealed beams. Instead, you have regular removable halogen bulbs behind glass lenses.

Absolutely. Some of the lobotomies weren’t recent.

You don’t even need to go near the limit to have more fun in a simple lightweight car. That’s part of the joy. Modern sports cars are generally boring on the street as you are totally isolated from what is going on and you can’t hit the go pedal for more than a second without hitting prison speeds.

Pretty sure most of the folks who comment here that 400+ hp is barely adequate couldn’t make a single WFO lap with an analog 400 hp car to save their lives.

in the last 12 years I have called out from sick 1 time

My opinion is that modern cars are really, REALLY good....for people who don’t care about driving and consider a car an appliance. Which, to be fair, is the vast majority of the car buying public.

Should have gone with the monorail. North Haverbrook did, and as far as I know, they are quite happy with it.
