Yeah... I don’t think I’d be attempting to touch the apex predator of the ocean.  Too bad the Orca didn’t retaliate or see him as a snack.

Brammo had a transmission on their motorcycle, and it was well received. While yes, a transmission does create another source a parasitic loss, it also allows to various torque ratios.  Plus, I don’t believe most electric motors are equally efficient at all speeds.  So it might be possible to use a transmission to

I am just so relieved and proud of Ron DeSantis for solving literally every single problem Florida has before concentrating on this. Because that’s surely the only explanation for spending even 11 seconds coming up with this brainbuster of an idea.

Might go back but I would be 100% ghosting and job hunting.

There’ no fucking way I would go back to a company that fired me on the whims of a child. This is the kind of business strategy you get from a guy whose reaction to opposition is ‘Go fuck yourself’, or as he put stupidly put it, ‘G. F. Y.’

300 is probably more than ample for 99% of trips, especially parents moving kids around to games and stuff.

Wow, that much!? That sounds like way more than enough to get to the kids’ baseball practices 4 and 6 miles away, and back. Sign me up!

“The truck tried to murder me today after it broke down on my first drive. Totally my fault though, still love Tesla!”

The Cybertruck is a “beast” in the same way that a Vespa scooter is a “hog.”

“I’m very pleased.”

“above and beyond” = Teslastan for doing the bare minimum, and only when insisting in public.

He’s likely already fully stocked on the kool-aid since he bought his “beast” to begin with (why do they keep calling them that?). But yeah, I’ve never seen someone so proud and happy after just having their 35-mile-old vehicle dumping out coolant. This is just weird.

Sounds like they gave him a glass of Kool-Aid too....

Of course. An even bigger asshole with two Cybertrucks.

At Tesla, you don’t cut corners...corners cut YOU!

Put down the truck too, it has a taste for human flesh.

How shitty must it feel as a designer that you were forced to cut so many corners (pun not intended) and meet so many asinine aesthetic requirements that your product has to come with a warning for how to properly open and close its doors?

Elon going back to LIDAR would be a huge admission of failure for him, something his ego will find hard to swallow, especially after years of denigrating it at the expense of safety.

I generally find the Tesla reporting here to be a bit one sided, but them going to LIDAR after years of saying it wasn’t necessary, is actually pretty newsworthy.

It saddens me that there is acorrect opening procedure” for the doors.
