i love his bullshit about freedom of speech when he just silenced erdogans opposition at his request during the election.

Why would anyone pay attention to his butthole farts when so many are flying out of his mouth?
MUSK: I’ll say what I want to say and if the consequence of that is losing money, so be it.
He tells CNBC he’ll be able to again focus on Tesla and SpaceX more
“...but died anyway”
Where’s that one Musk stan (Stalephish?) that always shows up with an excuse for Tesla’s failings? I want to see the mental gymnastics for this one.
The poster made it sound like the pedestrian entered the crosswalk when the car was already passing through, but that is clearly not the case. The pedestrian entered the crosswalk before the Tesla, so a stop is required. The Tesla blows the stop. No argument to be had.
There’s a sign in front of the crosswalk that says to Yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk.
It is state law to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk. You can tell because there’s a sign clearly visible in the video that says exactly that. The Tesla failed to yield to the pedestrian in the crosswalk, breaking the law. So it either didn’t know, or it did know and broke the law anyway. Those are the only two…
It’s straight-up illegal. You must yield to pedestrians in crosswalks — as in stopping your car. In particular, if this were a kid, you can’t predict that they won’t suddenly speed up. The purpose of yielding is that you don’t have to deal with the what ifs.
In Tesla’s defense, not running over the pedestrian is technically an improvement!
I’m riffing off something I read elsewhere but, a world where AI gets to write poetry and paint pictures all day while I get run over by autonomous vehicles on my way to a minimum wage job is not the future I was promised.
Oh they have a plan. They are just taking the slowest most Toyota way to do implement it. Tesla rolled out their infrastructure while they were coming out with new models. Toyota is partnering with a company now (long after EV’s have become a thing) to do a research study and a pilot program. Other companies are…
This and the RCF are as close as us normal people will ever get to the LFA. I have an RCF and love it.
If you want to know why regular people can’t stand stand car people, just waddle over to Car and Driver’s stories about the LC 500 revamp and the original test (links below), and read the comments bemoaning the ‘disappointing performance’ of a vehicle that will do a 1/4 mile @ 13 seconds and 112 mph. Jebus, these…
We will never know since the CCP suppresses any data that makes them look bad.
Can’t wait for all the BEV lovers to slide in and explain why this isn’t real or relevant.
most people only need something with 50 miles of range that they can plug in at home. more than 50? gas engine kicks in, no problem and your battery pack is only a few hundred pounds instead of a ton. theyve thought this out, and are probably the smartest out there with the best hybrid systems the past 25 years.
I absolutely believe PHEV’s are the way to go to spur adoption with more people. You get all the benefits of an EV, plus all the benefits of a traditional hybrid when the battery runs out. And folks can use the gasoline infrastructure they’re used to while getting used to charging. It’s a better step than pushing…
