Strictly hypothetical, but I wonder what role (if any) the Cyber truck's body/structure had in this - I wonder how much crash structures and crumple zones (or a lack thereof) impacted the survivability.

Absolutely. I say this as someone who adores a 5-speed Fit.

This was why I disliked Tesla fanboys even before Musk revealed himself to be who he really is.

I’ve been watching a lot of videos about the Drake v Kendrick beef, and the realization hit me: Tesla stans are the Drake stans of the car world.

I was catching up on WSJ’s The Journal podcast and they were talking about Musk’s Trump embrace.

I am shocked by your comment.

I’m with you, but at least this is a step in the right direction (towards Chapter 11 hopefully).

    That sounds like entertainment!

TSLA is down 12.45% at this moment on an earnings miss.

The worry is for everyone else on the road who didn’t sign up to be Cybertruck crash test subjects...

    That’s a bingo.

Probably because they’re similar like that.

There’s a lot to remind me of the block chain/bitcoin hype cycle in the early days. Suddenly, everyone was talking about using block chain to do.... Something.... for.... Reasons...

I quite like Matt’s channel: lots of insight on home tech and gadgets like heat pumps, solar, battery walls, geothermal heating/cooling, etc. without veering into hype.

Seriously, if someone manages to crack the ECU to lean out the fuel mixture and improve the MPGs (I’ve read that the IS300 runs very rich), it might get back onto my list of cars I’d like to own...

I always liked the IS300, especially in manual.

I saw one of these locally for sale. Sadly, I lacked the garage space....

Sounds right, since he's a dickhead...

“Just because someone has a nice car doesn’t mean that they’re wealthy.”

Especially with SUVs attracting car thieves... No one wants my Fit or Mazda3, so I'll enjoy the lower insurance payments...
