    Cool to learn!

One idiot driver in a GT500 ran out of gas not long after and was taken into custody. Two more GT500s were recovered a short time later on I-75, both out of gas. Authorities are still searching for the other vehicles.

Mars is nice this time of year.

I wonder if that’s by design (heh)...

Remember that Simpsons episode with the grifter who peddled a monorail to suckers?

This is consistent with the push for single-door entry and increased door security/locking capabilities in schools, rather than..... y’know....

My Honda Fit will need to be scraped out of the grille.

I know you mentioned fuel consumption so it’s not exactly applicable, but there was a Guardian article that noted the biggest source of pollution from cars nowadays, isn’t tailpipe emissions - but rather tire particles, exacerbated by the increased weight of cars (including EVs).

Maybe she was once a late-80s Ford compact car, who are we to judge?

The Republican edition of the Bible is hollow - it’s made for thumping, not reading.

Severe overpricing due to hype is definitely a factor - good time for those who bought in early to take some profits.

TSLA is more a growth stock than a traditional automaker - not quite apples-to-apples. Given the shift away from low interest rates, it’s taken a bigger beating than traditional automakers (Toyota is only down 1.39% YTD vs TSLA, down 41.93%; Honda is actually up 2.07%).

    I don’t know that they’re anti-Tesla so much as they’re anti-Musk.

I don’t think she’d ever let me sell the S2000.... I think I’ll be handing it down to my daughter (she already has her eye on it - and she’s only 5)

Ooof... as an owner who loves the red on these, I was very much on Team NP.... even though the intake looked odd to me (and didn’t appear to be from a major brand).

The interiors get really dusty if you drive these cars as God (or Soichiro Honda) intended - that is, top down.

Everytime I get in mine, I thank the stars my wife told me “if you’re going to get a convertible, buy that S2000 from the old man, instead of (this janky MR2 Spyder which a shady seller was definitely lying about*)“

The plus side of a beaten one like this, is you won’t feel as bad about beating it yourself (wait, maybe there’s a phrasing issue here)....

The intake doesn’t look like a particularly well-known brand... but 14k for a S2k, it’d be at least worth a look and a prepurchase inspection if you’re interested in one...

None of this would’ve happened, IF HE’D JUST SHAVED OFF THOSE SIDEBURNS!
