This is absolutely true, but my point is show that it isn’t definite that one should expect to be fired just because you showed something negative about your company - there are situations that do call for it.

That could also be an argument against spilling the beta test into the real world. Where it involves people who aren’t consenting participants to the beta, I think it warrants another look..

There are whistleblower regulations in place for many industries precisely for this reason: because it’s recognized to be in the public’s interest for employees to feel safe calling out unsafe/substandard products, without fear of reprisals.
